Hardware
The Oxford ED2000 consists of a floor-standing XRF spectrometer and associated Personal Computer (PC). The ED2000 uses the principle of Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) for qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative analysis for many elements in a wide range of material types.
The ED2000 requires a single phase mains supply for operation and may also require the optional vacuum system (Oxford supplied) and/or helium facilities for some applications.
