The Waters 990+ Photodiode Array Detector is an ultraviolet/visible (UV/VIS) detector and advanced data system for use in high performance liquid chromatography.
The photodiode array simultaneously measures absorbance values from 190 to 800 nanometers (nm). Because spectral information is gathered simultaneously at various wavelengths, detection of all UV absorbable components in a complex mixture is possible.
Data is immediately available and may be displayed during analysis. The identity of each peak and the impurity of any peak can be determined easily.
