The E1M and E2M.series pumps comprise single and two-stage direct drive, oil sealed outfits designed for a wide range of basic vacuum pumping duties. The pumps are free-standing units of basically similar construction but of varying displacement. Direct drive is provided, via a flexible coupling, from a single-phase or 3-phase (4-pole) motor. The motors normally fitted are totally enclosed (to IEC-1P44 standard), fan cooled versions; the single-phase motors incorporate a thermal overload protective device with manual push-button reset, also a mains isolator (ON/OFF) switch.
The pump is fitted with an oil distribution valve.
