Application:
As a replacement for cooling systems cooled with process water; for dissipating process heat; for thermostatting equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, spectrometers, distillation apparatus, rotary evaporators, electrophoresis units, and reaction vessels.
Technical design:
The chiller's cooling unit consists of a hermetically sealed refrigeration circuit with forced ventilation by an axial fan. The heat exchanger is made of non-ferrous metal and has a 3/4" filler neck with a vent screw and two 10mm angled hose connections. The cooling unit also features a circulation pump, which is not self-priming. The 3.1-liter polyethylene reservoir has a high-performance copper cooling coil and a circulation pump, screwed together to ensure watertight connection. This allows it to be connected to open and closed cooling systems.
